A youth-led initiative rooted in community, driven by a vision of a digitally empowered, self-sustaining rural Uganda.
Founding Vision
Community Aid for Development was born out of a stark realization: talent is equally distributed, but opportunity is not. In the rural and underserved communities of Uganda, an entire generation of young people is being left out of the global digital economy.
We refused to wait for outside intervention. Formed by young Ugandans who have lived these challenges, Community Aid for Development is a grassroots organization dedicated to bridging the divide. We believe that empowering a young person with digital skills, agricultural knowledge, and leadership capabilities transforms not just an individual, but an entire community.
