Is a Life Changed
Statistics tell part of the story. But real impact is the 19-year-old in Karamoja who opened a laptop for the first time and wrote her first line of code. It's the farmer who doubled his yield using techniques from our livelihood program. It's the young woman who now speaks at district council meetings.
Every resource we raise, every lab we build, every training we run is accountable to these faces — the youth of rural Uganda who deserve a fair shot at opportunity.
Voices from the Ground
Before Community Aid for Development built the computer lab in our village, I had never touched a keyboard. Now, I am learning web development and hope to build a platform for local farmers to sell their produce directly.
The smart farming techniques I learned through the Livelihood program helped me survive the drought. We are no longer just surviving; we are planning for the future.
